Here's one more reason why Nora is awesome. I have this thing in my car for her to play with that's like a soft steering wheel and a key, etc. When you press the horn, it plays music. One of the songs it plays is an instrumental version of the Itsy Bitsy Spider.
As I was getting her into her car seat the other day, she picked it up and pressed the horn and that's the song it played. She instantly started putting her hands together like she was trying to do the motions that go with the song. Now I have done it with her a few times here and there, but I think this must be something they do at daycare because I don't think we've done it enough for her to have picked up on it like that.
But either way, she recognized the tune without hearing the words or seeing someone else doing the motions. As an avid music lover and former musician, this makes me super impressed and happy with her level of tune recognition.

On a side note, John tried the last two Wonder Woman iron-ons and the problem may be that we were actually doing it too long. When he peeled back the first one, it wasn't on well so he did it some more and it actually came off and got worse. So he did the last one and did it for a shorter time and, with the exception of a fuzzy spot in one corner, it came out great. That one is a size 4 so I guess maybe she'll wear it next year. But now that we know what we did wrong, I'm having the urge to buy more...
