Yeah, that's right.  I'm writing an entry about me on Nora's birthday.  I'll post about her after she has her doctor's appointment tomorrow and we have some stats to share.  This one is all me.

So a year later and I still have 7 pounds to go in order to be my pre-pregnancy weight.  I could use to lose a couple more after that, but all I really want is to get back into my old pants and by summer, my bathing suit.

What's funny is that most of my body is actually in pretty good shape.  Having a baby to carry around works the arms and legs pretty well.  But I can't seem to get rid of that pouch on my lower belly, no matter what.  It's the mommy's curse, I know, and pretty normal, but it's annoying.  Even when I lose those last pounds, I know my body is not going to really be the same shape it once was, causing me to take a very honest look at my wardrobe and cleaning out many tight fitting shirts I know I have no earthly right to wear ever again.  Boy, do I need a new wardrobe.

And here's a weird thing.  I had heard in numerous places that your boobs are supposed to be smaller than they were pre-pregnancy once you're done breastfeeding.  So I was done breastfeeding at three months and while my boobs are nothing like they were while pregnant and nursing, they are definitely not smaller than pre-pregnancy, or even the same size.  They are, in fact, still larger.  I'm a freakish anomaly.

As for other things, I really, really, really miss sleeping in.  This has been a huge lifestyle change for me, but it's cool.  My girl is awesome and I couldn't ask for a better daddy for her.
