Can you believe this child still doesn't have any teeth?  Not because of her age, mind you.  I was about a year when I got my first so she'd still be early by my standards.  But for four months now, she gets bothered by her gums for a few days every month.  It's like she already has a menstrual cycle with the regularity of the crankiness, I swear.  And it's definitely the teeth that bother her when it happens.  All the signs are there.  I really would have sworn that this time they would have cut because she was particularly bothered by it, but noooooooo.  Still no teeth.

We've found that the pacifer is zack's best friend when his teeth hurt. In fact, he was never interested in the pacifier until he started teething.

This has nothing to do with teething but I saw it and thought of Nora:

And I thought it was frustrating that sam took TWO months on his first teeth. I think they all must be getting into place there, then whispering to each other "I'll go if you go. Are you going to go? Somebody else go first. Okay we'll count to three and then we'll ALL go. Okay, maybe we'll count to TEN. Then we'll ALL go. I will if you go!" So they're all going to be in a perfectly straight line under her gums until they can finally hold out no longer and all pop through at once.
