I am in love with those puffs of food that dissolve in your mouth that they make for babies.  No, not for me.  I think they taste kinda weird.  But Nora loves them and she will chomp on them and be entertained by them in her high chair while John and I get to eat dinner.  You seriously have no idea how long it's been since we've been able to eat dinner this easily.  Well, you could probably guess a little over seven months.  Whatever.  You get the point.

She's pretty damn funny with them.  She will try to pick up as many as she can and since they start dissolving a little if she drools on them, they stick to her face, hands, bib.  A bunch will fall in her lap.  Some will actually make it to her mouth, which is impressive.  When the tray is empty, she will look at us imploringly and make a noise that lets me know she wants more.  We check to see how many are in her lap first and then when those are gone, we'll give her some new ones.  It's a good time, too, to try out some baby sign language with her, so we'll sign her "more" at those moments.  Dorky, I know, but since when are we not.  After we're done eating, she'll finish up her puffs and we're now trying to get in the habit of giving her some water in a sippy cup.  Oh, all these fun grown up things she gets to do.

Anyway.  I promised Kristina a picture of Nora in her ponytail and I got to upload them while Nora is crawling around my really-needing-to-be-baby-proofed office.  Here's one:
