Today is Nora's half birthday. We will be celebrating by trying out some water in a sippy cup and also adding sweet potatoes to our repertoire of squash and electric orange, super-stainy carrots. She doesn't have her doctor's appointment until next Thursday because her doctor is on vacation this week, but our approximate measurements put her at about 16 1/2 pounds and 26 1/2 inches long, keeping her steady at about the 62nd percentile for weight and 85th for height.
Here's Nora in her vegetable sleeper. I never realized when I bought it shopping at T.J. Maxx with Julie all those months ago that she'd be wearing it so quickly. It came with a matching hat, by the way, and a shirt and pants - the shirt says "I play with my food" and the pants say "Yum!" on the butt. Baby clothes are awesome.
