Nora had her 4 month doctor's visit today, which did include shots.  Yuck.  She is 25 inches long and 13 lbs 13 oz.  According to this online growth chart thingy I'm using, this puts her at the 59th percentile for weight and the 85th(!) for height.  Percentiles for both have increased each month, but that height one totally skyrocketed.  Guess whose genetics that comes from?

...this is what scares me about Boyfriend. If I become Wife not Girlfriend and he becomes Dad... I don't want monster babies. Cos the same thing happened with my Sisters kids. And they were beasts at birth.

I was very concerned about that possibility. I'm not quite 5'2" and John is 6'4" so I was convinced that I would have a monster baby, especially since I was dealing the glucose intolerance stuff which often leads to larger babies. I admit that part of me wanted to believe that so much of my weight gain was on the baby so I wouldn't have as much to lose afterwards. When they told me she was only 6 lbs 7.5 oz, I was in utter disbelief. I'm glad she started off a little smaller and decided to catch up later. Delivery was hard enough without having a bigger baby.
