So I have this weird thing about being under train bridges when there's a train on them. Sort of a fear, but more of a discomfort, I guess. It won't stop me from going under one, but I'll go under very quickly if there's a train going by. Oddly, concrete train bridges don't bother me like the metal ones. Don't know why.
Anyway. I feel justified now as there have been two derailments off of bridges in the area in the past couple of days. One was early Sunday morning on what would have been a very busy road at any other time, the other was Monday morning and debris did fall on someone's car, but fortunately only the very front so the driver only had minor injuries.
Furthermore, the first bridge I've driven under on occasion, but that second one I've driven under quite frequently back when I was working in the area.
So not such a crazy fear, eh?
